Returns

May-London offers a 14-day return period for eligible change-of-mind returns. This does not limit statutory rights relating to faulty, damaged, misdescribed or incorrectly supplied goods.

Starting a return

Notify us through the Contact page within 14 days after receiving your goods. After notifying us, send the goods back within 14 days.

A clear statement that you wish to return or cancel the eligible purchase is sufficient. Prior approval is not required where a statutory cancellation right applies.

Condition of returned goods

You may inspect and try on goods as you would in a shop. Please return items clean, unused beyond what is reasonably necessary to inspect them, and with tags and original packaging where reasonably possible.

Where permitted by law, a refund may be reduced if handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods has reduced their value.

Exceptions

Return or cancellation rights may not apply to goods made to the customer’s specifications or clearly personalised, perishable goods, gift cards, or sealed goods not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons once unsealed, where the legal conditions for the exception are met.

Discounted items are not excluded from statutory rights solely because they were sold at a reduced price.

Faulty, damaged or incorrect goods

If goods arrive faulty, damaged, misdescribed or incorrectly supplied, use the Contact page as soon as reasonably possible.

These issues are handled separately from change-of-mind returns. Statutory remedies may include repair, replacement, price reduction or refund as required by applicable law. The 14-day change-of-mind period does not shorten those rights.

Return shipping

For eligible change-of-mind returns, the customer is responsible for the direct cost of return shipping where this was disclosed before purchase and applicable law permits it.

Where goods are faulty, damaged, misdescribed or incorrectly supplied, necessary return costs are covered where required by law.

Use secure packaging and retain proof of postage until the return has been completed.

Refunds

Refunds are issued to the original payment method unless otherwise agreed.

For a valid statutory cancellation, reimbursement will be made without undue delay and within the applicable legal deadline. Where goods must be returned, reimbursement may be withheld until the goods are received or evidence is provided that they have been sent back, where the law allows this.

For accepted returns, we aim to process the refund promptly after receipt and inspection. Payment providers may require additional time before the refund appears in the account.

Original delivery charges

Where statutory cancellation rights require it, the original standard delivery charge will be reimbursed for a full cancellation. Any additional cost for an optional premium delivery method is not refundable unless required by law.

Exchanges

Direct exchanges are subject to availability. Where an exchange is not arranged, an eligible item may be returned under this policy and a separate order placed for the preferred item.
